Welcome to the Solar Info Center
Awaiting you here on over 14,000 square metres of floor space is a unique spectrum of experts and your contacts working on the implementation and evolution of renewable energies and energy efficient technologies.
The office, seminar, catering and training areas are leased to independent companies dedicated to renewable energies. Many established enterprises operate from here a successful regional, national and international network. At the same time, the Solar Info Center is home to many recent setups and startups developing new, innovative products.
The Solar Info Center unites under the one roof a wide and diverse range of disciplines: architecture, facilities management, energy consultancy, engineering, law, financing, marketing and further training. Prospectives therefore gain fast, efficient access to the experts they need for their new energy technologies, whether they are private developers or corporations.
The companies at the Solar Info Center operate on their own budgets, but are part of a creative environment with potential team partners in the direct vicinity. They therefore profit from the synergy effects generated by a centre of excellence aligned to innovation and growth.

9000 m² office space
The Solar Info Center offers office space of various sizes, ranging from "smart offices" of 35 m² to an open-plan office of over 1,500 m². The individual offices are characterised by easy access and space-optimised design..
Conference center Etage
The Solar Info Center offers spaces for prestigious workshops, congresses and business presentations. The conference rooms are managed by FWTM Freiburg and are available for booking via www.etage-freiburg.de, whether your business is based at SIC or externally.

450 ㎡ exhibition space for product design
Product presentations and exhibitions can be used as a representative "shop window", for example to accompany lectures, business events or trade fairs.
2,600 ㎡ labs – technical facilities
The ground floor is occupied by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), whose laboratory and engineering staff pursue preproduction research and development and design prototypes, models, simulators, etc.
Catering "Solar Casino"
On the ground floor you find a bistro-restaurant-café offering a comprehensive menu – from lunch to catering – for employees, visitors, seminar guests and customers.
